Rootstock is a dynamic group of like-minded, outward looking young members of the wine industry that meet on a regular basis to debate, analyse, criticise and commend issues and topics of interest to all. Members are drawn from such diverse backgrounds as wine advertising, internet, packaging, scientific, viticultural, winemakers from estates, cooperatives and other private producers.
Informality is the key and all members at meetings are encouraged to speak their mind openly, get their peeves off their chest and also be prepared to be criticised by their peers. Healthy, informed and passionate debate is the key and all manner of topics have been targeted by Rootstock over the last 4 years. Some examples include:

Rootstock has no formal structure, no committee, and no engorged bureaucratic process.
Members are encouraged to propose meetings, invite speakers and arrange venues.
There is no cost attached to being a member of Rootstock and meetings are all voluntary.
A minimal fee is however charged to cover the costs of the meetings.
